After moving from Estonia to New York City, I noticed that my skin was breaking out and losing its elasticity. But after visiting my mother, who is over 80 years old and still has rosy cheeks and healthy skin, I realized that the secret was not using toxic chemicals, but rather returning to the Nordic, unpolluted ingredients she had been using for decades in Estonia.

All our products are manufactured using green energy and come with recyclable packaging, including eco-friendly glass bottles and tubes made from post-consumer recycled materials. We are deeply committed to protecting the oceans and actively advocate against the use of microbeads in skincare. Instead, we use Icelandic volcanic sand in our face scrub. To support these efforts, we also donate 5% of our revenue to ocean and local beach cleanup initiatives.
In 2019, Viking Beauty Secrets launched an ocean-cleanup campaign in partnership with sustainability partner, part owner, international swim champion, and ocean cleanup activist, Merle Liivand. Merle, a world-renowned "Mermaid", set four Guinness World Records in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 by swimming 10K, 20K, 30K, and 42K, respectively, wearing a mermaid monofin and without using her arms, to raise awareness about the use of plastic and microbeads in skincare.
